 WBPSC has officially announced that 2024 WBPSC food SI exam will be held on 16th and 17th March 2024 and admit card will be released by 2nd March 2024.

ABOUT WBPSC FOOD SI EXAM 2024:

The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has issued an official notice on its website https://psc.wb.gov.in regarding the date for the Food SI Exam in 2024. According to the notice, the competitive examination for the post of Sub-Inspector in the Subordinate Food & Supplies Service, Grade-III, under the Food & Supplies Department of the Government of West Bengal, will be held on 16th and 17th March 2024 (Saturday & Sunday). The Food SI Hall Ticket on 2nd March 2024, which will contain further details regarding the shift timings and venue. The selection of the candidates will be done through a Written Test and a Personality Test. The Written Exam will be MCQ-based, and the total marks is 100 and the interview marks are 20. The WBPSC Food SI Syllabus involves General Studies and Arithmetic.

WBPSC FOOD SI POST OVERVIEW:

West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) is going to conduct the WBPSC Food SI Examination 2024 to select eligible candidates. Those who get selected will get a salary of Rs 22700 per month(basic) + 2600(grade pay) + HRA+ other allowance. After some deductions the in-hand salary will be 25700 approx.

FOOD SI ADMIT CARD 2024:

As the Food SI Exam Date 2024 has been announced for 16th and 17th March 2024, therefore the admit cards will be released on 2nd March 2024. West Bengal Public Service Commission will issue Food SI Admit Card 2024 at https://psc.wb.gov.in only to the candidates whose applications have been successfully submitted. The candidates will be able to download their WBPSC Food SI Hall Ticket 2024 using their login credentials which were generated at the time of registration process.

FOOD SI PREVIOUS YEAR CUTOFF:

Written cutoff (for GENERAL) in 2018 for FOOD SI was 79.6671 out of 100. 

For final selection (Written + Interview) in 2018 was 91.1617 out of 120.

FOOD SI EXAM PATTERN:

The Food SI Exam is to be set as per the Food SI Exam Pattern notified by the West Bengal Public Service Commission along with detailed notification.

1)There would be 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in the WBPSC Food SI 2024 Exam.

2) The questions will be from the General Studies and Arithmetic section.

3) The exam will be of total 100 marks.

4) For each correct response, 1 mark will be awarded.

5) There shall be a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each incorrect response.

6) The duration to attempt all questions will be 90 minutes (1 hour 30 minutes)
